Snow Blower Tire Traction Chain

Snow Blower Tire Traction Chain
The chains are good medium duty quality and go on fairly easy and fit well.
What more can you ask.

Security Chain Company QG0226 Quik Grip Garden Tractor and Snow Blower Tire Traction Chain - Set of 2

These chains fit my Murray 24" 8 HP snowblower which is about 6 years old. It has 4.75" wide wheels which are 11.25" in diameter. The small rubber tensioners that Amazon suggests goes with these chains are too large and I had to cross-squeeze the rubber with some wire to get it to tighten properly. You only put the tensioners on one side of each wheel. Good price for the chains.

When pricing tire chains for my snowblower, I came across theese from Security Chain Co.. Well, for the money, I had little to loose so bought a set. I was extremely happy with this purchase, as the chains are top quality with cross chain (2 link) design. Which means, cross chain every other side link. You will not be disappointed with theese, and in fact wonder why they're so expensive elsewhere. A+ and a definite keeper.

I am very pleased with these chains for my snowblower. I only wish that I had brought sooner. They are great on ice. I have had plenty of opportunity to use them this year since the Northeast is getting record snows.

Our old chains were worn out. These were cheaper, even with the shipping (it took a week to arrive) and there are more cross chains. The instructions on how to put them on and the securing system was easier to use. We are very satisfied with the chains. We have a driveway with a huge slope, so chains are essential to safe snow blowing.

Amazon's price for these chains was the lowest I could find. I used the fit guide on the manufacturers web page to figure out which chains would fit my snow blower. These chains install easily. After the last snow storm with no chains and the snow blower slipping all over the place, i knew I had to get some chains. Now waiting for the next storm to try them out.
